How many websites/blogs/stuff/stuff/stuff/stuff/ do you have?!?!? Wow. Hehe, self-propagation at its extreme it seems...

I just googled your name and found bloglines. Gah, I hate bloglines (don't really know why, but I just hate it I guess) Thank god I am not categorized under 재미없는 블로그 (actually not there at all but that's better than 재미없는 블로그 I guess)

Nice music~! Dling it.

I shouldn't distract myself too much now. =) -- HappyCow (2005-03-08 00:21:42)

hmm. http://macalester.edu/adelante/members/yonghokim/archive/backup/ -- YonghoKim (2005-03-08 00:57:35)

Hm, this is adding another dimension to my level of distraction... -- HappyCow (2005-03-08 01:09:33)

i knew it wouldn't be a good thing. hey, exposing your birthday around is not good in terms of privacy/security. (i don't have credit cards so i don't mind, but..) gnight -- YonghoKim (2005-03-08 01:12:26)

sorry! comment deleted =P

btw, we have the same birthday =D -- HappyCow (2005-03-08 01:22:46)

Last question, do you know a person name Dongwhan Kim? -- HappyCow (2005-03-08 01:41:55)

oh, i meant your birthday, not mine (as in yours being on your website..eh.. forget it). no, i don't know donghwan either. (?) -- YonghoKim (2005-03-08 07:22:04)

I deleted my birthdate just for your amusement. (I am not a very good listener) DW is just a guy I thought you might know. He's the director of KCCC in LA if you know what that is. I just randomly wondered if you knew him. To thank you for the music I DLed from mediamob, here's a song I liked you can download: http://students.olin.edu/ccho/NakashimaMika.mp3. It's Japanese version of 눈의 꽃 if you follow Korean drama. =) Maybe you already have this.

Your song is the perfect song to listen to when depressed/sad. =P -- HappyCow (2005-03-08 19:45:48)

I don't know what KCCC is. Sounds like a radio station? Which music file are you talking about? The last one I got to glimpse a bit was 미안하다 사랑한다, and I have some issues with how the main character is portrayed. -- YonghoKim (2005-03-08 23:36:01)

The one that was on your mediamob. Some spanish language song. =) -- HappyCow (2005-03-09 01:50:24)

What do you mean you have issues with the main character? You mean 차무혁? He made me cry my eyeballs out. I had to use a wet towel instead of Kleenex to wipe out my tears because my eyes were irritated from too much crying... =P -- HappyCow (2005-03-09 23:17:57)

I think he was portrayed as totally foreign and otherized just because he was adopted. Which is not representative at all, but the drama makers exploited it because it drivers the audience crazy. Koreans in the peninsula are very possessive with their racial identity, and go to great lengths to persuade those who have any connection whatsoever to the country to make them learn the language, eat the food, learn the tradition, etc etc. So, 차무혁 who hanged around New York for a while, it's impossible that he was surrounded enough by korean-americans and korean immigrants in other countries to actually give interviews in korean and yet did not grasp korean manners through TV and daily newspapers. This was apparent when he appeared on TV for the first time upon arriving to the peninsula. But then, I only saw the first two 편 (episodes?), so -- YonghoKim (2005-03-09 23:32:35)

Yeah, that was sort of shady, I admit. But all kinds of shady things happen in Korean "chickflick" dramas, and all things considered, I still think it was the most well-done and non-trendy drama I've seen in years. First two episodes don't do the justice - although - they were filmed really well and high quality. -- HappyCow (2005-03-09 23:35:51)
